This Sailor 1911 Standard fountain pen features gold-plated trim, a screw-on cap, an inscribed cap-band, and a 14k gold nib. Named after the companys founding year, the 1911 range was designed to showcase the standards of quality and craftsmanship that have made Sailor so well respected from the beginning. The rounded ends give the 1911 a more classic shape than the Pro Gear range, and is for those who prefer a more traditional look. The cigar-shaped pen benefits from Sailors excellent cartridge-converter design, allowing it to be filled with bottled ink (using the provided converter) or with Sailor ink cartridges.
